Who We Are

We exist to help at risk urban young people develop into relationally strong, socially mature, emotionally healthy, Christ led,

indigenous leaders in order to change the trajectory of their lives & community.

Formerly known as PassionLA, Passion SoCal Network reaches thousands of young people weekly in Los Angeles through our numerous partnerships. We also work directly with hundred of kids on the Eastside and Southside of LA through our numerous programs. Though PassionLA has a 20 year lineage, it was officially established as an independent 501c3 non-profit on October 16th, 2018. Our programs reach out to young people from ages 5-25 in order to teach life skills, spiritual growth, and leadership development.

Bobby Lopez

Bobby was raised by drug dealers & gang members. Growing up he suffered abuse and trauma. Bobby soon fell into a destructive lifestyle of drugs and violence, until trying to escape by joining the United States Marine Corps. After his honorable discharge he gave his life to Christ and attended Life Pacific College to obtain a Bachelors of Ministry & Leadership. Bobby and his wife founded Passion SoCal Network on October 15th, 2018. He has been married to Mayra for 15 years & has 4 children.

Mayra Lopez

Born and raised in the east side of Los Angeles, Mayra faced many troubles at a very young age. She suffered from abuse and neglect at a very young age. As a young pre teen she was abandoned by both of her parents. She struggled to overcome the trauma of her past but soon ended up giving her life to Christ in her late teens. Today she is on the Executive Team of Passion SoCal Network, a mother figure, mentor, and is married to Bobby Lopez.
